Project Synopsis

In order to increase production capacity of the Crumb making section, it was decided to move out of the discrete S5 systems (such as135U, 95Us,etc) to the state of the art integrated control system. The aim was to bring down the crumb making time from 3 hours per batch to 2 hours per batch.

The new control system is catering to the following sections

Milk mixing
SCM Handling (NEW)
T-reactor
Cocoa Storage
Dryer (NEW)
Post T-reactor (including refiner & bagging)
Post Oven (including refiner & bagging) (NEW)
Post cooler
Utilities
 

The challenge was to carry out the up-gradation in minimum shutdown time.

The scope of work included
    1. Design and supply of control systems.
    2. Software development
    3. Commissioning
