Project Synopsis

Automation system for Transfer Manipulator. This special machine from DANGO & DIENENTHAL, GERMANY transfers the hot metal one place to another. The movements SWIVEL, LIFTING, TILTING, FEEDING, TONG OPEN CLOSED, TRAVELLING of the Robot are specified by the Control cabin HMI- MP277 or by the Machine cabin HMI- MP377. All position feedback is through encoders operating on Profibus.

The scope of work included:

  1. Design and supply of control systems/ cabinets.
  2. Software development
  3. Commissioning and performance trials.
